Leadership
Crucible Foundation is led with the belief that service requires more than good intent.
It requires stewardship, accountability and care in how resources are used.
Crucible Foundation is incorporated as a Section 8 company limited by guarantee. Its affairs are governed through its Board of Directors in accordance with applicable law and the Foundation's constitutional documents.
No individual Director exercises unilateral control over the Foundation.
FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP
Sriporna Sen
Co-Founder, Director and Chairperson
Sriporna Sen is Co-Founder, Director and Chairperson of Crucible Foundation.
She provides leadership across the Foundation's governance, charitable direction and institutional development.
As Chairperson, she helps ensure that the Foundation remains aligned with its social purpose, that initiatives are developed responsibly and that resources are applied with appropriate oversight and accountability.
She also contributes to the long-term development of the Foundation's work across education, women and child development, community wellbeing and social support.
FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP
Avisek Dasgupta
Co-Founder, Director and Principal Keeper
Avisek Dasgupta is Co-Founder and Director of Crucible Foundation and serves as its Principal Keeper.
He shares responsibility for the Foundation's governance, strategic direction and institutional development.
As Principal Keeper, he carries custodial responsibility for Crucible™, the intellectual property stewarded by the Foundation, including its preservation, continuity and long-term development.
His wider professional work spans more than two decades across leadership, talent, organisational development and human systems.
GOVERNANCE
Our Responsibility
The Foundation's leadership is responsible for ensuring that:
- resources are applied towards the Foundation's objects;
- initiatives are developed and implemented responsibly;
- partnerships are entered into with appropriate care;
- institutional and intellectual assets are protected;
- governance remains appropriate to the scale of the Foundation's work;
- the Foundation remains aligned with its stated charitable purpose.
Governance structures will continue to evolve as the Foundation grows.
