Crucible™

The Foundation's role includes:

• protecting the intellectual property associated with Crucible;
• maintaining appropriate standards around its use;
• supporting its continued development;
• preparing for long-term continuity beyond its originator;
• supporting charitable access where appropriate.

Crucible™ is institutionally stewarded by Crucible Foundation. The office of Principal Keeper carries custodial responsibility for the work and does not constitute individual ownership or unilateral control of the Foundation or its intellectual property.

The Keeper's Covenant™ is the long-term formation pathway through which future Keepers of Crucible may be developed.

Crucible Foundation intends to provide scholarships for eligible participants who demonstrate the required commitment and ability but may not have the financial means to undertake the programme.

Further information regarding applications and scholarship eligibility will be published when the programme opens.

Custodial responsibility for Crucible currently rests with the Principal Keeper.

The current Principal Keeper is Avisek Dasgupta, Co-Founder and Director of Crucible Foundation.

The office has been conceived with continuity in mind so that stewardship can ultimately extend beyond the original creator of the work.

The office of Principal Keeper is distinct from the statutory governance of Crucible Foundation, which rests with its Board of Directors.
